Mirror your Galaxy phone’s screen to your Samsung Smart TV with Smart View

The Smart View feature lets you mirror your Galaxy phone’s screen to your Samsung Smart TV, allowing you to share content such as videos and photos. You can follow the instructions in our guide to learn how to use Smart View.

Note: If screen mirroring does not connect properly, try connecting to the same Wi-Fi network, and then try running the screen mirroring feature again.

To get started with Smart View, you can follow the steps below.

1 On your Galaxy phone, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick settings panel, and then tap the Smart View icon.

2 Tap Continue if prompted, and then select your TV’s name.

3 You may be prompted to enter a PIN code or allow access to your device to complete the connection. Follow the on-screen instructions.
4 Tap Start now to begin mirroring your phone’s screen.

5 Allow your phone to connect to your TV.
6 Your phone’s screen will appear on your TV.
7 To stop using Smart View, tap the Smart View icon on the phone’s screen.

8 Then, tap Disconnect.

Notes:

  • You can disconnect from Smart View by swiping down from the top of the screen to open the Quick settings panel, and then tapping the Smart View icon.
  • You can turn the Multi View screen on or off by selecting the button in the Multi View menu under the Smart View icon.
