Set or change the PIN code on your 2025 Samsung Smart TV

Your Samsung Smart TV’s PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a specific password used to access your TV and its various functions, including installing and using apps. You can follow the instructions in our guide to change the PIN.

You will be required to set a PIN code for your 2025 Samsung TV during the initial setup process. Be careful not to forget your PIN. To change or reset the PIN, refer to the following section.

The PIN code for your Samsung TV can be changed.

1 Navigate to and select Settings, then select All Settings, and then select General & Privacy.
2 Select Change PIN.

3 Enter the current PIN.

  • On 2025 Samsung TVs, a PIN is set during the initial setup. If you do not know the current PIN, you cannot change it.
  • If you forget your PIN, you can reset the PIN to “0000” using your remote control. With the TV turned on, press the following buttons in the order shown: Volume button > Volume up > Return > Volume down > Return > Volume up > Return.
4 Enter the new PIN and enter the PIN again to confirm.
